At Summit, Scott helps lead the firm's investments in the technology sector. He founded the firm's London office in 2001, which he managed through 2016. Scott has made investments in—and served as a board director for—more than 30 companies.

Prior to Summit Partners, Scott worked as a strategy consultant with McKinsey & Company in the financial institutions group. He also served in a variety of U.S. federal government positions, including at the White House and Department of Justice.

Scott will share insights on building a successful career in private equity, including the impact that his legal education has had. Students contemplating career paths in finance, politics, management consulting, or business outside of big law are especially encouraged to attend.
